Cayman National Digital Onboard (CNDO) is Cayman National’s digital platform that allows customers to open accounts remotely with camera-enabled mobile and desktop devices, without visiting a Customer Service Centre.

Individuals 18 years or older, residing in the Cayman Islands are eligible to apply for an account through CNDO, subject to Cayman National's account opening requirements.

At this time, the following customer categories cannot be onboarded through CNDO:

• Individuals under 18 years of age
• Non-residents of the Cayman Islands
• Sole proprietorships
• Companies and corporations
• Non-profit organizations (NPOs)

Customers in these categories may visit a Customer Service Centre for assistance.

• KYD/USD Personal Chequing Accounts
• KYD/USD Personal Savings – EZ Banking, Caymanite and Gen Now

Joint accounts are currently not available via CNDO. However, a joint party can be added to an account established via CNDO, by visiting a Customer Service Centre where our team will advise on the required additional documentation.

Completing a CNDO application generally takes approximately 10 minutes.

Once submitted, customers can expect an update on the status of their application within two (2) business days.

Submission of an application does not guarantee account approval. All applications are subject to Cayman National's account opening, identification, and due diligence requirements.

Applicants will be required to upload clear and legible copies of the following:

Identification

• Valid passport

Proof of Residential Address

• Recent utility bill issued in the applicant's name

Evidence of Source of Income: Examples include:

• Employment letter confirming salary
• Rental agreement
• Pension statement; or
• Other acceptable evidence of income.

Additional documentation may be requested as part of the account review process.

Yes. You may save your application and return to complete it later.

Applications that remain incomplete for more than 45 days will automatically expire and must be restarted.

Yes, you will automatically receive Online Banking credentials via email and a text message (SMS). Once the account is approved, you will be able to log in and use Online Banking to process your transactions.

Yes. Upon approval and opening of your account, a Debit Card will be issued within two (2) business days.

Your primary account and any secondary accounts will be connected to the card.
