Security

Explore our tips, tools and fraud prevention guidance - all designed to keep you, your money and your personal data safe.

How we protect you

Keeping your money secure is at the heart of everything we do; we're looking out for you and your money around the clock and we use a combination of cutting edge technology and industry best practices to protect your personal and financial information.

Our multi-layered approach to security includes anti-virus and anti-malware protection, firewalls, SSL encryption, cookies, authentication measures, credential confidentiality and an automatic logout function.

It’s also important to understand what you can do to keep your information safe, so you can spot potential fraud and go about your online business with peace of mind.  We want to help you shop safely online and be confident you are making payment to the right person and help protect your personal data online.

Fraud Protection

Our Fraud Unit is available around the clock. They monitor our customers’ spending habits and might contact you to verify if a transaction seems unusual or suspicious.  If they can’t reach you, they'll place a temporary block on the card for your protection until they do make contact. We also recommend you let us know if you are traveling or plan to make transactions outside of your normal spending habits to avoid any disruption using your cards.

Wire Transfer Fraud Protection

When sending a Wire Transfer please be cautious and follow the steps below to:

  • Ensure that the beneficiary of the wired funds is a trusted/known source
  • Sometimes fraudsters request wire instructions via email. We recommend calling the beneficiary using their official contact details to confirm the details of the wire instructions (name on the account, account number, bank, etc.)
  • Use our online banking to monitor your account activity including wire transfers.
