Cash for Christmas for New Accounts Promotion By Cayman National
OFFICIAL RULES
ELIGIBILITY:
The Cash for Christmas for New Accounts Promotion by Cayman National Bank (the “Bank” or “Cayman National”) (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the Cayman Islands, who open any new deposit account between November 2, 2020 and December 16, 2020, in any of Cayman National’s EZ Banking, Legacy Builder, GenNow, and Caymanite accounts (each, a “New Account”), and which remain in in good standing as at the Prize Date.
Employees of the Bank, its parent company (Cayman National Corporation Ltd. (“CNC”)) and CNC’s subsidiaries, are not eligible.
Cayman National has the right to exclude any person from this offer in its absolute discretion without any obligation to provide notice or reason.
This Promotion is governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands.
TIMING:
The Promotion began on November 2, 2020, and ends at 3.00 pm on December 16, 2020 (“Promotional Period”).
TO ENTER:
For each New Account opened during the Promotional Period, the account holder (or joint account holders for that account) will automatically receive one entry (“Entry”). Applications completed in full for new accounts must be submitted in person to one of the Bank’s Customer Service Centres by Wednesday, December 16 at 3.00 pm. Incomplete applications will not receive an Entry.
The Bank is not responsible for any applications or documents that are lost, misdirected, or fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly.
PRIZES:
Starting on December 7, 2020, Cayman National will draw one Entry at random from all eligible Entries daily. For each Entry drawn on the day indicated below (the relevant “Prize Date”), the relevant New Account of the winning entry will be credited with the amount indicated (in Cayman Islands Dollars or equivalent).

December 8 - $150
December 9 - $200
December 10 - $250
December 11 - $300
December 14 - $350
December 15 - $400
December 16 - $450
December 17 - $500
December 18 - $550
December 21 - $750
December 22 - $1250
Once an Entry is drawn and a prize credited, that Entry will no longer be eligible for any further draws on a later Prize Date.
Account holders will be subject to any necessary applicable regulatory or tax reporting.
DETERMINATION OF PRIZES:
Between December 7, 2020 and December 22, 2020, Cayman National (or its appointed audit firm) will draw one Entry at random from all eligible Entries entered, and verify eligibility in accordance with these Rules. Cayman National will attempt to contact the Account Holder(s) selected by telephone (using the number in the Bank’s files). Upon confirmation that the Account Holder(s) accepts the prize as awarded and consents to use of his or her name(s) and image in the Bank’s promotional materials, the prize will be credited to the relevant New Account.
If the Account Holder(s) cannot confirm those terms, then another Entry will be drawn at random, and the process is repeated until the terms are met.
By accepting a prize, the Account Holder(s) consent to the use of his/her name, image, likeness, photograph, voice, and biographical material for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes by the Bank, in any and all media now or hereafter devised, including but not limited to, any online announcements, worldwide in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law.
A background check of a winner may be required by Cayman National before confirming and announcing a winner, and Cayman National may disqualify a potential winner based on the results of the background check.
A prize is not transferable and is subject to change at the sole discretion of the Bank. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be changed.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
In all matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding in all respects.
Cayman National reserves the right in its absolute discretion to vary these Rules of this Promotion or change or withdraw or suspend this Promotion at any time without giving any reason. In the event of a dispute arising from this Promotional offer, the Bank’s decision is final.
Account Holders release and hold harmless the Bank from any claims, actions, injury, loss, or damage of any kind, resulting directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participating in this Promotion or from the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize. This limitation of liability is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect, or consequential damages; loss of data, income or profit; loss of damage to property; and claims of third parties.
