Caroline Barton

Caroline is a partner within the Corporate department of the law firm Appleby in the Cayman Islands.

Her practice areas include structured finance, asset and project finance, corporate and fund finance, capital markets and mergers, and acquisitions.

She obtained an LLB (Hons) from the University of Bristol, completed the Legal Practitioners Course at Nottingham Law School and was admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2006. She is a notary public in the Cayman Islands, has previously served as a board member of the Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands and is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
