Cayman National Roundabout Lights Up

8 December 2008

The spirit of Christmas was ushered in at an event to 'light up' the Cayman National roundabout. The count-down to a flood of breathtaking colours was started by His Excellency The Governor Mr. Stuart Jack, CVO and Mrs. Jack, invited guests.

In addition to the very prominent Cayman National brand, the roundabout is adorned with a magnificent 30 foot tree of frost and blue lights. The walls are adorned with garland while the stars and other elements of the round about illuminate adding to the ambiance of the amenity. Cayman National signed the contract to adopt the roundabout with the Ministry of Communications, Works and Infrastructure in 2007.

"The lighting of the roundabout each year will be just another way for Cayman National to give back to the community and public", said Claudia Welds Senior Executive Corporate Communications. "This is our first year and we are excited and look forward to making it bigger and better each year as a special treat during this special season."

The roundabout connects Huldah Avenue, Thomas Russell Way and Elgin Avenue.
