Cayman National's annual signature event "Home for Christmas" which was held on December 2nd was another resounding success. This special event which is hosted for clients and the local community celebrated its 6th anniversary this year, and according to the organizers, the event was 'bigger and better' this year.

The audience enjoyed entertainment by the featured School for this year, the George Hicks School, Choir, Campus and Swing Bands, which performances were excellent an enjoyed by everyone. Other performances included Rico Ebanks who sang the National Song, 'Beloved Isle Cayman', the UCCI Cayman National Steel Pan Band 'Pandemix' and the CNC Chorale - Cayman National's own staff.

The very popular 'Kiddies Corner' with activities, goodies and a visit from Santa was certainly a key attraction for the 'little ones', and this year saw the largest crowd ever.

Donations were made to the following local charities that were recognized for their service and support to the community: The Cayman Islands Veterans Association, The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre, The Sunrise Adult Training Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters. A donation was also made to the George Hicks School Music Programme.

Commenting on the success of the event, Cayman National's Claudia Welds, event coordinator, said, "the atmosphere of the entire evening was absolutely beautiful, setting the stage for the holidays and ushering in the Christmas Spirit, and of course, a reflection of the slogan used to promote the event 'Home is Where the Story Begins'. It is also very fitting for us to acknowledge the untiring work of the many charitable institutions on our island, and what better time to do this, than this special time of the year," she said.
