Cayman National Increases Commitment to Junior Achievement

6 March 2007

Cayman National's Corporate Communication's Senior Executive, Claudia Welds, recently presented Junior Achievement's Director Wil Pineau with a cheque for CI$2,500 thereby solidifying a commitment of the same amount each year for the next three years as a Silver Sponsor of the JA programme. In addition to the Corporation's financial support, Cayman National also sponsors a JA Company where high-school children start-up and run their own company for 18 weeks under the supervision of Company Advisors who are employees and who volunteer their personal time. Claudia Welds comments, "We are delighted to continue to support the JA programme which provides hands-on experience to help our young people understand the economics of life. We recognize that any support we make to this programme is a direct investment into the lives of future leaders of our islands."
