The Pines Retirement Home

Cayman National supports the needs of local senior citizens by donating funds to the National Council of Voluntary Organisations, a non-profit charitable group who operates the Pines Retirement Home. Thirty-five residents receive various levels of care from a staff of registered nurses, nursing assistants and management personnel. In addition to monetary donations, Cayman National staff members visit the Pines each Christmas to sing Christmas carols and brighten their holiday. Cayman National's Annual Golf Tournament raises thousands of dollars for the home.

International Day of Older Persons

International Day of Older Persons has been observed on October 1st since 1991. In honor of the contributions seniors have made to the community, Cayman National staff members gathered together with local seniors at Smith Cove to share their life-stories and unique skills.
